Spot

Senior Painted Spots
Seniors are eligible to paint their parking spots for a $10 fee that goes toward the senior class.
WCHS Senior “Paint Your Spot”
Painting fee - $10 Paint your spot fundraiser fee
Repainting Previously Painted Spots: if you select a parking spot that was painted in a previous year, you are responsible for fully painting over the existing design before adding your own. All previous artwork must be completely covered to ensure a clean slate for the new design.
Painting Times 8 AM to 9 PM August 15th-August 18th
Painting must be completed and dried by Wednesday, August 19th.
Guidelines for your sketch:
Think of your parking spot as a t-shirt that you want to wear to school. Your spot must be in dress code - so no references to drugs, alcohol, smoking, gangs, etc. Keep it school appropriate! You can use your name, include your athletic number, instrument you play, club you are involved in or favorite hobbies. Your spot should be fun and reflect who you are. Show your individuality and school spirit!
Paint Requirements:
-Paint with any household interior or exterior paint. Latex paint works best.
-NO SPRAY PAINT IS TO BE USED!
-DO NOT PAINT ON ANY CURB OR LIGHT POLE located in the parking lots.
-DO NOT COVER THE ENTIRE SPOT WITH PAINT.
-Keep your paint inside your own space.
-Your design must leave a 2-3 inch space from the parking spot dividing lines.
-Do not paint over the parking spot number. It needs to be visible.
What to bring on paint day:
-Paint and paint brushes or rollers
-Masking tape or painter's tape to tape off the lines around your spot - remember to leave 2-3 inches of space from the parking spot lines
-Broom to sweep off parking space
-Clean up supplies when finished (bags, rags, wipes…)
-No air or airless paint sprayers permitted
-If you create a barrier around your spot, while it dries to keep foot traffic out, do not use paint cans or concrete pavers. Return a few hours later to pick up your barrier. If you do not block off your spot, we cannot guarantee others won’t drive over it as there are practices and events during painting times.
-Please make sure you leave your spot and the parking lot nice and neat!
-Tent if you want some shade, Speaker for music, and a friend for company
-No Refunds after you have painted your spot. If you paint something inappropriate on your spot, it will be removed and you will not receive a refund. You will be responsible for paying a $50 removal fee and subject to additional disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by school administration. (Remember that all parking lots are on our security camera system.)
There will be formers of this to sign in the front office when you stop by the purchase your spot!
