Our final project for Independent Art was finished just in time! We were missing a few students, but our high schoolers delivered their monster plushies to select 3rd graders at Tygart Creek Elementary yesterday. They loved getting to meet and talk with the original artists behind the drawings.
The 3rd graders definitely set the bar high with their creative monster designs, but our students did an amazing job bringing them to life — some even took on two plushies since our class was so small. It was also a really special full-circle moment for a few of our seniors, getting to finish their last school art project in their first art classroom.
